16 More Books.

I lost track, I got super into lesbian fiction/crime, and have read through almost every author that Bold Strokes Books have published. I forgot to keep track of the book titles because I would buy them three at a time and be done with them in two days.
I'm now reading Skin Deep by Kenna White. Ill start keeping better track from now on.

Night Call and The Crown of Valencia

Night Call by Radclyff
8 out of 10
Medivac helicopter pilot Jett McNally's heart belongs to an Army officer she left behind in Afghanistan, and good-time anesthesiologist Tristan Holmes is no substitute, except possibly in bed.
When Jett comes home from the war and destruction in the Middle East, everyone she knows thinks she should be happy. How can she explain she left a big part of her life behind, including her heart? Flying and the adrenaline-rush of a crisis are the only things that make her happy, and she volunteers to fly night call where all the action is. So maybe once in a while she takes a few chances. Hey, that's life, right?

The Crown Of Valencia by Catherine Friend
10 out of 10 (except the ending was too brief)
Ex-lovers can really mess up your life. Kate Vincent's ex, Anna, certainly does. Not only does Anna interfere in Kate's love life, but she totally screws up the world by traveling back in time to 11th century Spain and changing one crucial event. As any sane person knows, you cannot alter an event in history without altering everything that follows--but Anna has an agenda, and a score to settle.
When Kate follows Anna back to the 11th century to clean up Anna's mess before she and those she loves cease to exist, she finds herself fighting not only Anna and her hired thugs, but also another woman--the woman Kate has never stopped loving.

Shelter from the Storm by Peggy Herring
6 out of 10

Hush, Hush and The Spanish Pearl

I'm going to start doing things a bit differently from now on. I have realized that almost every book I review, I start out by saying what a good book it was, how much I love it,and how I cant wait for the sequel. I cant change that, its an automatic response for me. See, I'm actually really bad at criticizing books, so even if they suck, I would try to sugar coat it so it doesn't seem so bad, because others may be interested in something I'm not and I don't want to turn other people off to certain books just because I don't like it. So from now on I'm going to post the title and author, a brief description, probably the one off the back cover, then a 1-10 rating system.

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
9 out of 10
For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her...until Patch comes along.
With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment, but after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is far more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

The Spanish Pearl by Catherine Friend
10 out of 10
When Kate Vincent and her partner travel to Spain, Kate is accidentally transported back in time...way back in time...to 1085. What does a woman like Kate do in a world of no antibiotics, no feminism, no Diet Coke? She denies it as long as possible, then sets her mind to getting home. Tricky with her now useless twenty-first century skills. Things don't go well. Kate is captured by a band of mercenary soldiers and becomes an unwitting pawn in the violent conflict between the Catholic kings and the Islamic Moors. In her struggle to stay alive and return to the future, Kate must flee exotic harems, filthy dungeons, and treacherous Moorish courts. But when a sword-brandishing woman with an astonishing secret sweeps into Kate's life, Kate is suddenly torn between two women, and between two centuries.

Are Those Fangs Batman??

I don't think I have ever gone that long without reading a book. I kinda fell out of it, got wrapped up in school and work, and didn't have any ME time. An email came one morning though, and that email changed my life...It was from Barnes and Nobles. It was asking me to check out they're new releases for E-reader. (Even though I don't own one, nor do I want to, they still send me coupons for it) It was telling me that I am now able to order the newest Sookie Stackhouse novel for e-reader. WHAT?@#%!$ I didn't know it was even out yet!! My next move was to call Barnes and Nobles and have them hold a copy. When I got there, the lady said, "I cant believe you waited this long, we have had it for four days now." to which I reply, "I CAN'T BELIEVE I WAITED THIS LONG EITHER!! I HAD NO IDEA IT WAS OUT!!" **Read all caps as me talking in a super high pitched voice, slightly maniacally, with my eyes bugged out**
I tried to pace myself, I had two days worth of double shifts to make it through and I didn't want to finish the book on my first shift. I made it through three shifts and finished it. It was so great. That characters have developed more, relationships have blossomed, lives are being created, and taken away, on accident and on purpose. I don't know what else I can say without telling too much to those who haven't read it. I recommend to go pick up the entire series and read it, and if you have read all of them except this one, and didn't know a new one was out...WHY ARE YOU STILL SITTING HERE READING THIS?!? GO GET IT!!

Oh boy, here's a big one. (9)

It has been a while. I am proud to say that I have finished 9 more books since my last post!! Im not going to post thumbnails of each cover, you can google that later, im just going to do it in list form.

I finished the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire Series. Definite 10 out of 10.
-All Together Dead
-From Dead To Worse
-Dead and Gone

The Lily Bard "Shakespear" Series
-Shakespeare's Landlord
-Shakespeare's Champion
-Shakespeare's Christmas
-Shakespeare's Trollop
-Shakespeare's Counselor
I likes the Lily Bard series ok, it didn't grip me like the Sookie series, and the books weren't as long, but I would give the series a 7 out of 10.

The Aurora Teagarden Series
-Real Murders

I just finished Real Murders today and the murders are super creative, but the personal story line isn't very intriguing. The end of Real Murders left it open to two different romances in Aurora's life and in the beginning of the second book, A Bone To Pick, it erases any hope for the two guys is Aurora's life that you really liked. What's up with that Charlaine?!? I guess ill keep reading the series because now I feel bad for the lowly librarian, and I want to see her happy, and because I haven't found anything better to read. Then again I haven't been looking that hard. :)
